Kemerovo in Winter

Although we were here in Kemerovo during the summer, we are living in a different part of the city.  It took us a few days to find grocery stores within walking distance.   One day when we were out we discovered these ice sculptures in Lenin Square, just a block from our apartment.

 The sculptures included three ice slides.  It was nice to see the children having so much fun.

 Kemerovo has a small church group and four missionaries.  Since we were here before, we already knew the members.  There are many opportunities to serve, and they have kept us busy.  Today we both spoke in Sacrament Meeting and did the music.  We have also helped with activities and hosted meetings in our apartment. 

 There is even space for a skating rink in the large city square.  Here are Father Frost and the Snow Maiden.
