Astana to Almaty to Novosibirsk to Kemerovo

We finally arrived in Kemerovo about ten days ago.  First we stayed in a hotel, then in a temporary apartment.  After several days of searching we found an apartment in this building near the city center.  Our bedroom window is just to the right of the arch on the third floor.  The first floor has businesses.

 There are many of these apartment buildings here.  They were built by German  prisoners of war during World War II.  There is no elevator, a first for us.  The buildings are five stories.  After that, an elevator is required.
