Yesterday we visited a bank to make a money transfer to our translator in Kazakhstan. It took us nearly an hour to find the bank, then another hour and a half to make the transaction. Because fewer people speak English here, we are finding that doing any kind of business is a little more challenging than in other cities. We had previously tried two other banks where the clerks would not even try to assist us.
We passed by Victory Park on our walk home. It was interesting to see the WW2 military equipment and monuments.

There were plenty of dishes after a fireside at our apartment.
It's so nice to have a "dishwasher."
