This week we went to Novosibirsk for Zone Conference.  While there, we visited a medical equipment supply store to buy more wheelchairs to complete a project in Astana.  We also learned that our passports and visas are in the mail.  We should be returning to Astana in the next few days.  We have come to love Kemerovo and our friends here.  It will be sad to say goodbye.

These Siberian villages along the highway are long distances from anything.  I'm not sure how they manage here in winter.  Below is a cemetery about forty minutes from Novosibirsk.  The graves are among the trees.
Although Russia is a right-hand traffic country, there are many cars with the steering wheel on the right.  I took this picture in a taxi when we were looking for a Kemerovo apartment.                      The view from our bedroom window of the Opera House/Theater next door and the building beyond which is identical to the one we live in.  We are going to miss this!!

  2. The little villages are beautiful. They remind me of Ft Wayne in March, and that should not be the case. We had snow Sunday. Wards around Muncie cancelled meetings. No crocus yet. HO Jones
