We're about to say goodbye to Kemerovo and Russia.  We will finally be getting new Kazakh visas.  The catch is that we are required to apply in person at the Kazakh Embassy in Washington D.C.  We leave here on Wednesday morning and then spend a few days in the US.  I am excited about shopping at a WalMart.  There are things that just can't be purchased in this part of the world. 

Our friend Julia took us to visit this new residential area near Kemerovo.
