Earlier this week we attended a presentation and closing for a project.  This project provided toys for use in therapy for children with autism and cochlear implants who are learning to process sound and speak.

The children were so excited as we opened the boxes of toys.  It was like Christmas morning.

Our work involves a long process of meeting with heads of organizations, developing and submitting the projects for approval and then finally purchasing and delivering the needed items.  The process includes extensive documentation and expense accounting.   Seeing the faces of those who benefit makes it so rewarding!

The therapists said that having the toys will make their jobs easier and help the children progress.
